Effective July 10, 2026

This policy explains the information tvt needs to function and the choices you have.

Information tvt Handles

To run your account, tvt handles your sign-in identifier and, when provided by Apple or Google, your email address. We also store the profile information you choose, including your display name, handle, bio, profile photo, favorites, and visibility setting.

Your library can include shows, episode progress, watch history, ratings, reviews, lists, notification preferences, and TV Time import results. Social features can store follows, comments, likes, reports, and blocks.

When you contact support, your email app is prepared with the app version and basic device, operating system, and locale details so we can help diagnose the problem. You can edit that email before sending it.

How We Use Information

We use this information only to provide tvt: authenticate your account, display your profile, sync and back up your library, calculate your stats, power social features, send the notifications you request, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell personal information, serve targeted advertising, track you across other companies' apps or websites, or use an analytics SDK.

Services That Help tvt Work

tvt uses Firebase for authentication, cloud data, and image storage. Apple or Google may process sign-in information when you choose their sign-in method. TMDB provides show metadata and artwork, and GIPHY provides GIF search where available. These services process requests needed to provide their features under their own terms and policies.

Storage, Visibility, and Retention

Your library is stored on your device and can be backed up to the account linked to tvt. Information stays available until you remove it or delete your account, subject to reasonable technical and safety retention needs.

A public profile lets other people see the profile and library information described in the app. A private profile hides your library from other users, but your handle and anything you post in shared areas can still be visible.

Deleting your account removes your account, profile, cloud library, social connections, and likes. Existing comments are emptied and anonymized so conversation threads remain understandable. Safety reports may be retained when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service.

Your Choices

You can edit your profile and visibility from Profile, manage blocked users from Settings, remove individual content in the app, and permanently delete your account from Settings. You can also sign out and remove the local library from the device after it is backed up.

Children

tvt is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and address it.
